The primary focus is to provide the students with the skills for their growth in the automobile sector.

Scope and Career opportunities

Mechanical engineering is one of the oldest and broadest engineering fields that deals with designing, developing, manufacturing, and maintaining mechanical systems. After completing a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, various job opportunities are available in India in the private and government sectors.

Some of the popular job profiles for mechanical engineering graduates in India include:

Design Engineer:

Design engineers work on creating and developing new products and systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Manufacturing Engineer:

Manufacturing engineers focus on improving the efficiency and productivity of manufacturing processes.

Quality Control Engineer:

Quality control engineers ensure that products meet the required quality standards by testing and analyzing materials and products.

Maintenance Engineer:

Maintenance engineers are responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems and equipment.

Research and Development Engineer:

Research and development engineers work on developing new technologies and products by conducting research and experimentation. Apart from these job roles, mechanical engineering graduates can also work in automobile, aerospace, power generation, construction, and many more industries. They can also pursue higher education through a Master of Technology (M.Tech) or pursue a career in research or teaching.
